Employee Spotlight, Amy Dill
Meet Amy Dill
Mystic, CT Office
Tell me about your current project.
I just finished the Bridgeton, MO Leachate Treatment Plant. It was fast paced and complicated but we had a great team and the project was completed successfully. I’m excited for my upcoming assignments in our CNG program.
What’s your favorite part about working at ET?
Having always worked for large companies, I’m enjoying the familiarity that the size of ET allows for. Everyone has a voice, and everyone has an opportunity.
What has been the most challenging project in your career?
Every project, no matter how big/small, simple/complex has challenges. Projects can be technically challenging, have tight time or monetary requirements, or personnel challenges. But if every project was easy, it wouldn’t be fun, would it?
What is something that most people don’t know about you?
I teach a Solid Waste Management course at a local university. I like to share my knowledge with and mentor the students. It’s rewarding when the students keep in touch and ask me questions long after the class has ended, or let me know that because of my class they’ve decided to enter the field of solid waste.
Does your dream vacation require snow gear, sunscreen, or something else?
Bug spray. I like to get lost in the mountains.
In a movie about your life, what actor/actress would play you?
I would like to think Evangeline Lilly, but more likely it would be Mayim Bialik.
