Tell me about your current project.
WM CNG Expansion in Wheeling, IL – expanding the client’s natural gas fueling capabilities to accommodate a growing fleet. The CNG industry is still emerging and this project requires integrating the latest equipment with a first generation fueling system.
What’s your favorite part about working at ET or on your current project?
We are constantly spearheading meetings with permitting jurisdictions nationwide to educate and develop support for green vehicles and their associated infrastructure. Being able to provide our clients with the freedom to deploy their CNG fleets and infrastructure as dictated by their markets, while promoting a clean-burning fuel alternative, is extremely rewarding.
What has been your favorite job or project in your career?
I joined the Peace Corps after college and lived in Mali and China. Exploring new cultures and gaining a better understanding of people worldwide has played big role in how I see the world today.
What has been the most challenging project in your career?
The CERF Shelby Landfill Gas Processing Facility has been the most challenging project that I have been a part of. The plant itself processes raw landfill gas through a pressure swing adsorption system before pressurizing the gas and injecting it into a natural gas transmission pipeline. There was onsite field engineering on a day-to-day basis complicated by the intricacies of the process itself. Fighting the constraints of a tight budget and compressed schedule, ET worked to ensure client satisfaction by providing a plant that exceeded is predecessors in output and efficacy.
What are some things that most people don’t know about you?
I love celebrity gossip. I Keep up with the Kardashians, know all the latest on Taylor Swift’s dating life and will stand in the longest line at the grocery store just to leaf through Us Weekly.
