Tell me about your current project assignment.
New CNG fleet fueling station with retail fueling pumps and maintenance garage modifications. This project is a new CNG station at the client’s Pen Argyl location in northeast PA. This station will fuel a fleet of 35 CNG vehicles overnight, with a public CNG retail station for those with NGVs. In addition to the CNG station, we are outfitting the current garage with methane detection so that the fleet can be serviced safely within the confines of their existing shop.
What’s your favorite part about working at ET or on your current project?
I can’t beat the diversity of the locations for the projects I manage. From anywhere in this country (and Canada) I am able to stop and gain experience in a variety of different locations, climates, and, well, food! The second best thing is the culture. There is a true family atmosphere at ET. Ideas can come from anywhere and our team is receptive to constructive criticism and improving upon our own systems. I feel that my contributions are valued.
What has been the most challenging project in your career?
I was the Project Manager on a job for COTA, Central Ohio Transit Authority. The project was massive and part of a three phase overhaul of existing garage, fueling infrastructure, and tenant improvements. Everything about this project was expedited. Double 10 hour shifts were required during the middle of winter in Columbus. It snowed and rained about 40% of the time. It was a nerve wracking experience, but one of my most fruitful. We delivered the project on time, and fueled their fleet that will grow to 320 buses by full roll out.
What are your favorite hobbies or pastimes?
Baseball. I share the past time of our country. It’s truly one of the only things nowadays that brings true joy.
What’s your favorite sports team?
Does your dream vacation require snow gear, sunscreen, or something else?
Actually… my dream vacation is to simply see a part of the world I have never seen before. Immerse myself in the culture, food, music of a new region and simply enjoy. It could be sunny, it could be snowy; it could be on the beach of a secluded island or in a bustling metro. As long as it is new, I will make the most and enjoy it.
If you won the lottery, what would you do?
The one thing I would focus on is traveling. I would be able to literally see the world…and pay my student debt!
What’s one thing on your bucket list?
As a big baseball fan I would like to watch a game at every MLB stadium. So far, I am a little over half way there. I have seen a game at 16 different stadiums out of 30, so I feel like that is a simple bucket list item that I can take care of.
