Tell me about your current project.
My current project is the design and construction of a compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling station for a hauling site located in Smyrna, GA. This project includes installation of compression equipment, fueling infrastructure, and upgrades to the existing maintenance garage to meet code and safety requirements for servicing natural gas vehicles.
What’s your favorite part about working at ET or on your current project?
My favorite part of working at ET on this project is the opportunity to see the project progress from its conception through completion while working with a team on experienced professionals. I also like the opportunity to travel to new places.
What has been the most challenging project in your career?
My current project has been my most challenging because it is my first project as a Design Manager and I am learning how to do new functions in this role.
What is most challenging about CNG projects?
The most challenging part about CNG projects is designing the project to best serve the site’s specific needs. Whether it is optimizing the site’s traffic flow, maximizing the number of fueling positions or finding the most effective approach to maintenance garage upgrades, each project has its own unique set of obstacles.
Do you have any specialized education or skills that help you perform your job better?
I have experience working with AutoCAD computer drafting software, which allows me to create conceptual sketches and drawings during the design development.
