ET Environmental Corporation, LLC (www.etdesignbuild.com) is celebrating 20 years of successful business by preparing for the future with an international expansion into Canada. In the United States, ET Environmental has grown to 13 offices from coast to coast and is recognized as a leader in the solid waste, transportation, and natural gas industries. Engineering News Record ranks ET Environmental as a perennial Top 200 Environmental Firm and the company recently achieved the distinction of a Top 30 All Environmental Firm.

Twenty years ago, Bill Higginbotham combined the corporate talents of Emcon Associates and Turner Construction, creating a joint venture that evolved into ET Environmental. The vision of the company was to provide outstanding environmental engineering design and construction management services into a single source design/build firm.

The firm began predominantly with environmental projects like brownfields restoration and environmental remediation, as well as solid waste facility design and construction. In 2002, the company developed ET Energy to execute projects in the renewable/alternative energy fields including landfill gas, natural gas, vehicle fueling, solar energy and others. Today, ET Environmental has completed more than 1,300 projects in total, including more than 300 for top publicly traded solid waste companies.  Projects have ranged from small engineering assessments to a recently completed state-of-the-art transfer and recycling center that totals more than 105,000 square feet. The depth of project types that ET Environmental now performs not only includes solid waste landfills, recycling centers, transfer stations, organics processing, and medical waste facilities, but also alternative fuel projects such as high BTU pipeline injection projects, compressed natural gas fueling stations, and maintenance facility design and construction.

“It has been exciting to build such a strong and diverse company that continues to lead the industry in environmental and alternative energy projects,” said President and CEO, Bill Higginbotham, PE. “Our involvement in the natural gas transportation industry has taken us into Canada where some of our largest clients are experiencing significant growth. We’re happy to grow with them. We are entering the next phase of ET Environmental history and look forward to the Canadian expansion that will help us serve our clients on a much broader scale.”
