Edom Hill Transfer Station

Cathedral City, CA

Edom HillET Environmental provided design/build services for a 44,000-sf transfer station, self-haul facility and administration building. The project included a 420,000-gallon on-site water storage facility for fire protection and domestic water usage.





Azusa Transfer & Recycling Facility

ET provided Design / Build services for this state-of-the-art Material Recycling Facility (MRF) in Southern California.  The 125,000-sf facility includes single stream recycling and bales storage building, solid waste processing, and green waste processing.  Ancillary facilities include a three-story office component, maintenance building, and a scale facility.


Franklin Street Transfer Station & Recycling Facility

Denver, CO

ET Environmental provided pre-construction and construction services for the Franklin Street Transfer Station and Recycling Facility in Denver. The 67,000-square foot facility was designed to accept 1,200 tons per day of MSW and process up to 200 tons per day of recyclables.






Davis Street Organic Waste Processing Facility

San Leandro, CA

ET Environmental provided design/build services for this Waste Management facility. This Phase 1 project included a 34,000-sf green waste processing building and transfer facility. Work also included site improvements for traffic flow and storage on the existing Davis Street site, office space to house management staff and the green waste enclosure (GWE) building. The GWE is designed for a fully enclosed operation including odor control systems and high speed rolling doors to mitigate any impact to air quality outside of the building enclosure.  A currently planned Phase 2 will include a 70,000-sf organic waste MRF to process commercial food waste for bioconversion feed stock in conjunction with green waste.  Phase 1 achieved LEED Gold certification.

Southeast & Southwest Transfer Station

Houston, TX

ET Environmental provided construction management services for the construction of two new municipal solid waste transfer stations in Houston. Each facility was 28,000-square feet and each was designed to accommodate 2,000 tons per day of municipal solid waste.





San Tan Transfer Station

Mesa, AZ

ET Environmental delivered design/build services for a 33,000-square foot transfer station and office facility to handle approximately 2,600 tons per day. The project included a 290,000-gallon on-site water storage facility for fire protection and domestic water usage. This project received the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) 2005 Gold Excellence Award.


Trinity Waste Services

Fort Worth, TX

ET Environmental provided design/build services for a 42,000-square foot transfer station/Material Recovery Facility for Trinity Waste Services, a subsidiary of Allied Waste Services.





Taft Transfer Station

Orlando, FL

ET Environmental provided design/build services for the expansion and improvements of the existing Taft Transfer Station for Waste Services, Inc. Work included removal of extensive areas of unsuitable historic fill, construction of a 6,000-square foot expansion, new load out tunnel, inbound/outbound scales and scale house/office, remotely operated tunnel scale, site pavement repairs and improvements existing tipping floor replacement, stormwater controls and miscellaneous site and utility improvements. The existing transfer station remained in operation throughout the construction period.
